Mental (Behavioral) Health

Everyone reacts to stress and traumatic experiences differently. While some have reactions that can be seen as normal responses to life events, others may experience signs or symptoms of more serious conditions.

Mental health and substance use conditions can affect anyone; you are not alone. The Military Health System has many resources available to help those who need it.x

If you or someone you know needs support now, call or text 988 or chat at 988Lifeline.org. 988 connects you with a trained crisis counselor who can help.

366th Medical Group Mental Health Services

Our facility offers the following mental health services:

Mental Health: Voluntary outpatient treatment for active duty service members; appointments can be made by self-referring to the clinic or by consulting with a medical provider. A mental health provider is available for walk-in appointments every day during business hours. Along with using the referral system, medical providers may request consultations from mental health professionals. Specialty services include psychology, psychiatry, social work, and neuropsychology

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment: To promote readiness, health, and wellness, ADAPT provides comprehensive services to individuals, in coordination with their commanders, who are experiencing problems attributed to substance misuse. ADAPT provides services to all active duty service members with alcohol or drug use issues. The ADAPT staff is available for presenting information and participating in outreach activities upon request. The three methods of referral are self-identification, commander’s identification, and medical referral.

Family Advocacy: We help build healthier families and create more resilient and responsive communities. Our programs center upon prevention and outreach, treatment, victim advocacy, and research. We have a new parent support program, which is voluntary for expectant parents and families with children under the age of 3. The program includes home visitation services as needed. Family Advocacy Strength-Based Treatment, or FAST, is another voluntary program for couples and families who want to change destructive patterns of communication. Outreach services are offered through life-skills classes in parenting, relationship enhancement, emotion regulation and resiliency boosting. Treatment services are offered for individuals, couples, and families who have experienced maltreatment. Victim advocacy is a program that offers victims of intimate partner violence supportive services 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Appointments can be made via self-referral, at a commander’s request, and medical referral. Local resources include on-base resources, such as resiliency centers and military family life consultants.
