Immunizations
We provide all inoculations to active duty personnel, retirees and dependents. Flu shots are administered seasonally to all patients. Allergy services, including testing and shots, are available through a primary care manager referral.
The Immunizations Clinic is a walk-in clinic, no appointment required. Our normal business hours are 0730-1630 M-F, the first Wednesday of every month we are open 1300-1630. For off base locations/pharmacies, we recommend contacting them prior to arrival, as their protocols/stock may change with the influx of patients.
Influenza Vaccine Update
Flu season is upon us. We are concerned about your health and encourage everyone to get vaccinated annually against influenza.
It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.
Please see the guidance below for getting the flu vaccine here at 366 MTF Mountain Home AFB.
Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs)
Active duty and Guard/Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.
Currently, we do not have any flu vaccines available for ADSMs, but we will be receiving more of the vaccine in the near future. Once the vaccine comes in, ADSMs will take priority.
You have the option to get the flu vaccine from a participating network pharmacy or a TRICARE network provider (if you have a referral). Visit
www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more. When you get a flu vaccine from anywhere besides 366 MTF Mountain Home AFB, follow your Service policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record. You'll need to bring a copy of the record containing the following information to the immunizations clinic:
- The date the vaccine was given
- The vaccine name or code
- Manufacturer
- Lot number
All Other Beneficiaries
The flu vaccine is currently available for children ages 6 – 35 months at the MTF.
All other beneficiaries can visit a participating network pharmacy or TRICARE-authorized provider to get the vaccine. Visit
www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more.
