Preventive Care

Base Operational Support Team (BOST)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Base Operational Support Team is a team consisting of a physical therapist, psychologist, social worker, strength and condition coach and a team manager. The BOST successfully improves squadron performance, readiness and resiliency by decreasing work place stressors and unit injury by embedding within squadrons on base for a time from of 3-4 months. Over that time frame the BOST reconditions squadrons to embrace a culture of occupational athletics and long term self-care solutions.

Health Promotion fosters a culture and environment that values health and wellness. We strive to improve the health and readiness of the military community. We offer weight management and lifestyle behavior change programs to all beneficiaries. We also provide nutritional consultations (with primary care manager referral), tobacco cessation support, pre- and post Natal nutrition and exercise support, body composition assessments, and much more. We also have special events and give briefings to support the community.

Immunizations

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We provide all inoculations to active duty personnel, retirees and dependents. Flu shots are administered seasonally to all patients. Allergy services, including testing and shots, are available through a primary care manager referral.

Nutritional Medicine

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Nutritional medicine offers assistance to patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and weight management. One on one appointments with a dietitian for active duty, retirees and dependents with a primary care manager Referral are available. Nutrition, Behavior Change, and weight loss group classes are available as well (no referral needed).

We conduct preventive medicine and communicable disease control, occupational health, food safety, deployment medicine, and disaster response programs.
